Kiwire 3.0 Administrator - Device & Controller Setup Guide

ChilliSpot Configuration for Kiwire

A. ChilliSpot Configuration

 

Step 1 – Edit hs.conf from “etc/chilli” with the following settings:

​

  • Radiusserver1 → kiwire ip address

  • Radiussecret →same with kiwire NAS secret

  • Radiusauthport → 1812

  • Radiusacctport → 1813

  • Uamserver → http://kiwire-ip/user/chilispot

  • Radiusnasid → same with kiwire NAS ID

  • Uamsecret →same with radiussecret

  • Uamallowed → kiwire ip address

  • Uamdomain →walled garden for social login

  • Coaport – 3799

Step 2 – Edit main.conf from “/etc/chilli” with the following settings:

​

  • Net → user IP segment

  • Uamlisten → guest gateway IP

Kiwire Configuration for UBNT central

​

Adding NAS into Kiwire
​​

  1. Device Type → Controller

  2. Vendor → chilispot

  3. Identity → as per radiusnasid setting

  4. Ip Address → Ip address of chilispot ap

  5. Address → optional

  6. Shared Secret Key → Secret key phrase set at Radiussecret

  7. COA Port → 3799

  8. Description → optional

  9. Monitoring Method → optional

  10. Community → optional

  11. Snmp version → optional

  12. Create→ to save

  13. Navigate to Devices > Devices > Add Device
