Device Configuration – How to Create a Group with Bandwidth Capping for FortiOS
Go to Account > Profile, create a profile with any name. In this example, we create a profile name Forti Wi-Fi using Free profile type.
Go to Policy > Radius Attribute, add a new Fortinet-Group-Name radius attribute.
In FortiWiFi go to User and Device > User > User Group and create user group as below.
Then under Policy & Objects > Objects > Traffic Shapers, create a new profile for the Traffic Shaper.
Finally, create a policy with the user group that we have created and enable the traffic shaping.
