Prerequisites

Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network

have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Secret: create a secret pass phrase

Role & Permission

All administrator added to system are govern by the role & permission assigned. You can fine-tune the role and permission assigned to per user basis. While the permission tab will list the permission created for the role. To access the role & permission module click on Account > Role & Permission from the navigation. On the role & permission listing module, you may search for specific role by using the search field.
NOTE:
Default admin account has super account privileges and have full privileges.

ADD NEW ROLE
Click on “Add New Role” button and populate the required fields. Fill in the field with relevant information to complete the process.

PERMISSION SETTINGS
It display all the available modules in Omaya. Check the modules you want to assign for user.
UPDATE OR DELETE ROLE
Click on update or delete icon from the role listing. If you clicked the update icon, the update screen will display where you can update the setting of the role. Click on the delete icon to delete the role. A prompt will be displayed to ask for your confirmation to proceed to delete the role. Please exercise with cautions as this not a reversible action.
