Prerequisites

Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network

have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Kiwire 3.0 Administrator - Account & Finance
Account - Profile

The profile modules let you manage users account profile. To access the Profile module click on Accounts > Profile from the navigation. On the profile listing module, you may search for a specific profile by using the search field. Profile is policy applied to users account-based mainly on time, speed and usage.

Time: You can limit the amount of access time for the users.

Speed: You can limit the upload or download speed of the users access. Users then have the option of upgrading to a faster access service for a charge.

Usage: You can set a threshold on data usage.

Add New Profile
Click on “Add Profile” button and populate the required fields. Fill in the field with relevant information to complete the process.

Edit or Delete Profile
Click the edit icon on the listing screen to edit the profile. The edit screen is displayed in which you can edit the setting of the profile. Click on the delete icon to delete the profile. A prompt will be displayed to ask for your confirmation to proceed to delete the profile. Please exercise with caution as this, not a reversible action.
