Prerequisites

Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network
-
have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Authentication Server

Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-Ip

Secret: create a secret pass phrase

Kiwire 3.0 Administrator - Cloud & Policy
Cloud - Role
The role module let you to create a role and access privileges to modules within Kiwire system. You can create either full access administrator or lower privileges administrator access as required. The navigation menu listing will based on the access the role have assigned. To access the role module click on Cloud > Role from the navigation. On the role listing module, you may search for specific role by using the search field.

ADD NEW ROLE
Click on “Add Role” button and populate the required fields. Fill in the field with relevant information to complete the process.

How to Create Role & Assign Administrator to it?

Click on the “Add Role” button.

Enter the role name for the new role.

Select the relevant modules that the group can access by checking on the module checkbox.

Click on the “Create” button to save the new role.

The role is now ready to assign to a new administrator.

Go to administrator module, create a new administrator with role assign to it.
EDIT OR DELETE ROLE
Click the edit icon on the role listing screen to edit a role. The edit screen be display which you can edit the setting of the role. Click on the delete icon to delete the role. A prompt will be display to ask for your confirmation to proceed to delete the role. Please exercise with cautions as this not a reversible action.
