Prerequisites

Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network
-
have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static
Note:

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Authentication Server

Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-Ip

Secret: create a secret pass phrase

Port: 1812

Timeout: 3 seconds

Tenant Guiding for Login Engine – QR Login
The QR login integration enables users to login into the network when they scan and authorized the QR code display on their device screen when connected to network. Configure the QR login integration and use login journey to assign the QR login function to the desire Zone. To access the media module click on Login Engine > QR Login from the navigation.
Login QR code as User
1). In user’s device, select the WIFI network/SSID.
2). Show this QR code to the admin/authoriser/officer and let them scan using their device
4). Now, you are success connected to Wi-Fi.
