Cambium Networks Configuration for Kiwire Hotspot
Prerequisites

Before integrating the controller with Kiwire, it is necessary that the controller and access point:

are connected to the Internet

are reachable on the network
-
have an IP address assigned to the a through DHCP or static
Note:

Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip can be obtain by contacting our technical support for our cloud customer. For enterprise client the ip will be on premises Kiwire ip address.

Social network hostname list can be obtained from Social network whitelist guide
Part 1: Cambium cnMaestro configuration

Login to your Cambium cnMaestro controller

Go to WLANs > Configuration > AAA Servers

Authentication Server

Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-Ip

Secret: create a secret pass phrase

Port: 1812

Timeout: 3 seconds

Attempts: 1

Accounting Server

Host: Kiwire-hostname or Kiwire-ip

Secret: secret same as authentication server

Settings - CMX Configuration
CMX Configuration > Configuration List
Configuration list will show all of the CMX Configuration that were added to the system and you have option to delete the list.
CMX Configuration > Import API
Import API provide you form to add new CMX Configuration. There are 3 step you need to complete to add new CMX Configuration which are Access Information, Connection Check and Store Data.
Access Information
Fill in the information form and click Continue.
Connection Check
For connection check, you need to wait until the system done checking all API for you and click Continue after the system give you an alert to go next step.
Store Data
For store data, you need to wait while the system store all information for you and click ” Process ” after the system give you an alert to process all of your information.
CMX Configuration > Import CSV
Import CSV provide you form to add new CMX Configuration. You may upload file for Access Point Data (CSV) and fill in the company name, CMX username, password and CMX URL, venue name, signal strength and dwell time.
You can click ” + Add More ” to add CMX Configuration with same information but different venue, signal strength and dwell time
